Protecting site drainage
Keep contaminated wash water out of surface drains
Water running from a commercial vehicle can carry road film, sediment, oil, salt and cleaning products. It needs an appropriate containment, recovery or discharge route.
Surface-water and foul-water systems lead to different places, while some sites have interceptors or dedicated wash facilities. We check the wash position and likely water path before agreeing the method.

Surface covers protect suitable drain inlets where an effective seal can be formed.
Containment mats
Portable mats create a defined wash area where vehicle access and the surface allow.

Absorbent or filtering socks provide an additional control around selected drainage points.
Water diversion
Temporary channels direct water towards an agreed recovery point.

Recovery and removal
Wastewater produced during our cleaning work can be pumped into onboard storage and removed from site where included in the quotation. We use an authorised disposal route and can provide records where required.
Registered lower-tier waste carrier
We are registered with the Environment Agency as a lower-tier waste carrier. Registration CBDL644544 covers transport of wastewater produced by our own cleaning work.
